Peopleclick Privacy Policy
Peopleclick provides web-based service software to recruit and manage our client's permanent and contract workforce, as well as integrated EEO software and expertise in affirmative action and diversity planning. In providing the above listed services, Peopleclick and its agents and subcontractors (hereinafter referred to as "Peopleclick";) may have access to certain personally identifiable information. Personal data that may be maintained by Peopleclick on behalf of our clients include, but is not limited to names, contact information, CV or resume, data of birth, national insurance numbers, social security numbers, salary, and race and ethnic origin.
Peopleclick takes technical, contractual, administrative and physical steps to protect against unauthorized access to and disclosure of individually identifiable information. If, during their employment, Peopleclick employees acquire confidential or proprietary information belonging to Peopleclick or its clients, such information will be handled in confidence and may not be disclosed to unauthorized third parties. Peopleclick employees are also responsible for the internal security of such information.
Peopleclick provides information and training to all employees who have access to data maintained on behalf of Peopleclick clients. Employees who would violate Peopleclick's security and safe maintenance of data policies are subject to discipline including termination.
Data maintained by Peopleclick is protected by computer security mechanisms including firewalls, encryption, monitoring software, data segmentation and passwords.
Aggregate information of Peopleclick client data, not containing any individually identifiable information, may be provided to Peopleclick clients or prospects or disclosed in Peopleclick literature.
A visitor to www.peopleclick.com or one of our hosted web sites, who is not seeking employment and not expressing an interest in purchasing products or services, is not required to reveal any individually identifiable information such as name, address or telephone number.
Peopleclick may record information that is not individually identifiable about how people access our Web sites. This information includes IP addresses (or the DNS name associated with it), which web site you are visiting Peopleclick from and what Web software you're using. This information is used in the aggregate to administer our system and make improvements to our site.
Peopleclick may use cookies in conjunction with hosting career sites for some of our clients. An individual wishing to review or update personal data maintained in the Peopleclick system should initially contact the third party company to whom they have indicated an interest in employment. If the third party company is unable or unwilling to resolve the discrepancy, the individual should contact the Peopleclick Data Security Officer.
Peopleclick is committed to cooperating with the EU Data Protection Authorities or their authorized representatives as an Independent third party recourse mechanism for any individual who believes their personal data protection has been violated.
The United States Federal Trade Commission is the statutory body that has jurisdiction to hear any claims against the organization regarding possible unfair or deceptive practices and violations of laws or regulations governing privacy.
