Peopleclick, Inc. and its affiliated companies (“Peopleclick”) provide this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use and disclose certain personal information online.
Peopleclick provides web-based service software to recruit and manage our client’s permanent and contract workforce as well as integrated EEO software and expertise in affirmative action and diversity planning. In providing our services, Peopleclick and its agents and subcontractors may have access to certain personally identifiable information. Personal data that may be maintained by Peopleclick on behalf of our clients includes, but is not limited to, names, contact information, CV or resume, data of birth, national insurance numbers, social security numbers, salary information and race and ethnic origin.
Peopleclick respects individual privacy and takes technical, contractual, administrative and physical steps to protect against unauthorized access to and disclosure of individually identifiable information. Peopleclick strives to collect and use personal information in a manner consistent with the laws of the countries in which we do business and abides by the Safe Harbor Principles developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce in coordination with European Commission. Peopleclick, Inc. and Peopleclick Ltd. comply with the EU Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of data from the European Union.
Peopleclick is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. TRUSTe is an independent, organization whose mission is to build user’s trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices. This Privacy Policy covers the Web site www.peopleclick.com. Because Peopleclick wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information practices and have its privacy practices reviewed for compliance by TRUSTe.
Upon request and within 30 days, Peopleclick will grant individuals reasonable access to personal information that it holds about them. In addition, Peopleclick will take reasonable steps to permit individuals to correct, amend, or delete information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete. Information Collected on the Peopleclick Web site
The types of Personal Information we may collect about you through our sites include contact and identifying information (name, address, email address, phone and fax numbers, institution, title or job position), information about your interest in Peopleclick products or services, information about your interest in newsletters, seminars, or other services that we provide (solely or jointly with others), information about any other transaction(s) between you or your organization and Peopleclick and any other Personal Information that you may provide to us in an online form or through an email. Where we collect Personal Information through online forms, we will notify you of which fields are mandatory for the particular service or functionality you are requesting and which fields are optional. If you choose to provide information that is optional, we may use and disclose such information for the purposes described below.
Security
Peopleclick takes technical, contractual, administrative and physical steps to protect against unauthorized access to and disclosure of individually identifiable information. If, during their employment, Peopleclick employees acquire confidential or proprietary information belonging to Peopleclick or its clients, such information will be handled in confidence and may not be disclosed to unauthorized third parties. Peopleclick employees are also responsible for the internal security of such information. Peopleclick provides information and training to all employees who have access to data maintained on behalf of Peopleclick customers. Employees who violate Peopleclick's security and safe maintenance of data policies are subject to discipline including termination. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of Personal Information, Peopleclick has adopted appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Personal Information we process. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Peopleclick does not share, sell, rent, or trade PII with third parties for their promotional purposes. Data maintained by Peopleclick is protected by computer security mechanisms including firewalls, encryption, monitoring software, data and network segmentation, and passwords. Aggregate information of Peopleclick customer data, not containing any individually identifiable information, may be provided to Peopleclick clients or prospects or disclosed in Peopleclick literature. A visitor to www.peopleclick.com or one of our hosted web sites, who is not seeking employment and not expressing an interest in purchasing products or services, is not required to reveal any individually identifiable information such as name, address or telephone number.
Safe Harbor
Peopleclick conforms to Safe Harbor Principles and is committed to cooperating with the EU Data Protection Authorities or their authorized representatives, as an Independent third party recourse mechanism for any individual who believes their personal data protection has been violated.
Disclosures of Personal Information
Peopleclick will use Personal Information only in ways compatible with the purpose for which it was collected or authorized by our customers. We may disclose Personal Information as necessary or appropriate in connection with any of the purposes for which we use Personal Information, including to subcontractors or service providers that help host or support the sites or otherwise provide technical assistance, fulfillment companies that help us to provide requested products or services and business partners that help conduct seminars or otherwise provide requested products, services or information. We also reserve right to disclose Personal Information in connection with the safe or transfer of all or part of the business. In these situations where we transfer Personal Information to these types of third parties, we require by contract that such third parties must not use or disclose the information for any purposes other than those specified in this Privacy Policy, and that such third parties must maintain commercially reasonable security measures to protect the Personal Information. In situations involving the sale or transfer of all or part of the business, we will seek to notify users of the ownership change by way of a prominent notice posted on our Web site. Unsubscribe or Modify Information
We intend to protect the quality and integrity of your Personal Information. An individual wishing to review or update personal data maintained in the Peopleclick system should initially contact the third party company to whom they have indicated an interest in employment. If the third party company is unable or unwilling to resolve the discrepancy, the individual should contact Peopleclick at Security@peopleclick.com. Peopleclick will respond to your request to delete or change your personal information within thirty (30) days.
Access to Personally Identifiable Information
If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by making the change on our member information page or by emailing our Customer Support at Security@peopleclick.com or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below.
Testimonials
Peopleclick posts customer testimonials on its web site which may contain personally identifiable information such as the customer’s name. Peopleclick obtains the customer’s consent prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. If you want to remove your personal information that is being displayed on our website under public pages please send your request to Security@peopleclick.com.
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe by providing a functional unsubscribe mechanism in each email communication we send to users.
Legal Disclosure
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site
Service Providers
We may use other third parties to provide credit card processing on our site. We will share your credit card information as necessary for the third party to provide such processing services.

Log Files and Aggregate Information
Peopleclick may record information that is not individually identifiable about how people access our Web sites. TRUSTe will then serve as a liaison with us to resolve your concerns.
Oversight/Enforcement
Peopleclick is committed to cooperating with the Data Protection Authorities or their authorized representatives as an Independent third party recourse mechanism for any individual who believes their personal data protection has been violated. Peopleclick’s Chief Security Officer is responsible for Peopleclick’s compliance with and enforcement of this Privacy Policy; the Chief Security Officer may be reached at Security@peopleclick.com. The United States Federal Trade Commission is the statutory body that has jurisdiction to hear any claims against the organization regarding possible unfair or deceptive practices and violations of laws or regulations governing privacy.
